How big does my air system need to be?

Sizing your air system is as simple as figuring out how many players will be refilling per hour. This is not how many people using air or total number of customers, just how many refills you would be able to accommodate per hour. Keep in mind that with more and more players upgrading from CO2 to air, your total number of players using air will surely increase once your field or shop adds high pressure fills to your list of amenities. Nothing is worse than spending thousands on an air system that you will outgrow in a years time.

The following compressors are listed from smallest capacity to largest capacity and figures have been determined based on filling 88 cu. inch 4500 psi from 0 to 4500 psi. Noting that most players are not filling from 0 psi to 4500 psi but rather 2000 psi or similar pressures to 4500 psi, the following figures are considered by us to be conservative. The purpose for adding the storage cylinders to the compressors.

Read down the left column to select the appropriate number of "Players Per Hour", and then read over to the right column to determine the optimal air system configuration for your needs.
